We are a trade association established to represent the unique needs of generator dealers. Meetings & Education
NEGDA offers both virtual and in-person meetings, featuring expert speakers and presentations on a wide range of topics including technical discussions, safety standards, business strategies, and emerging technologies. Since its informal beginnings over 13 years ago, NEGDA has grown into a recognized trade group. Since late 2022, we have worked diligently to expand our reach and solidify our position as a unique resource for generator dealers.
Today, NEGDA’s membership collectively represents:

- More than 70,000 gensets under agreement for service, repair, and maintenance

What We Look for in a Member
We seek generator dealerships whose primary business is generator-related sales, installation, and/or service. Our members operate with integrity, deliver expert, high-quality work, and are committed to exceptional customer service. We welcome the best of the best—those who are dedicated to advancing the generator industry and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Membership Process
- Complete an Application – Submit an application to begin the membership process. Membership Review will be completed within two weeks of receiving a new membership applicaiton.
- Membership Review – Applications are reviewed by our Membership Committee based on business qualifications and commitment to industry standards.
- Approval & Onboarding – Upon approval, new members receive access to exclusive NEGDA benefits, resources, and events.
